The sports car is made in the style of racing cars of the Procar BMW M1 series – the auxiliary championship of the Formula-1, which was held in 1979 and 1980. The cars, modified by the AHG Motorsport division, featured an adjustable racing suspension, 16-inch BBS wheel disks with different tires, a special exhaust system, a racing gearbox and a 350-horsepower engine. The engine of the standard M1 produced 277 horsepower.

The sports car put up for sale in 2017 underwent a restoration procedure, during which the transmission, the fuel tank and the oil separator was restored. In addition, the car was replaced by electrical wiring, suspension levers, a water pump and installed new semisweet tires. After the restoration of the BMW M1 drove 30 miles (48 kilometers).

In January this year in the United States found a rare instance of a sports car BMW 328. The car is built on a lightweight racing chassis and is equipped with a body manufactured by Veritas. This chassis was used in 1937 on the marathon “24 Hours of Le Mans”, and in the Tourist Trophy and Mille Miglia races.
