Rare BMW Alpina B7 Turbo goes on saleDecember 4, 2019
On the Enthusiast Auto Group web portal, an announcement was made about the sale of a very rare “charged” Alpina B7 Turbo sedan based on the BMW 5 Series with the designation E28.
You can rarely see the E28 in the current period, but it’s not worth talking about the variation from the Alpina studio, as the company built only 278 B7 Turbo cars, and how many of them have survived to this day.
The uniqueness of the Schwarz Blue Metallic shade, which appeared on sale in America, lies both in belonging to the limited series and in the fact that this sample participated in the Tokyo auto show in the year of the premiere of the car. Now the mileage of the model is 95 506 km.
The machine is equipped with a six-cylinder power plant with a volume of 3.5 liters, which was upgraded by the tuners. The motor acquired an improved head of the block, other camshafts, new pistons, a turbocharger and a sports exhaust tract.
The power unit produces at least 320 hp. and 520 Nm – it’s pretty impressive for a sedan of the 80s. Up to the first “hundred”, the car accelerates in 6.2 seconds, and its maximum speed is 262 km / h.
In addition, the B7 Turbo received a limited-slip differential, more efficient brakes, an increased fuel tank and air conditioning. The price of the car is available on request, and it will obviously be rather big.
Also previously unique Pagani Zonda sold for 6.18 million dollars. The car body is made of carbon fiber and decorated with matte and glossy carbon elements with red accents.
