Three similar cars have survived to this day.

A unique 1970 AMC AMX / 3 concept car was put up for sale in the USA. One of the three remaining muscle cars can be purchased for $ 400,000.

AMC AMX / 3 was developed at the end of the muscle car era. The prototype debuted at the 1970 Chicago Auto Show. The model was recognized as the best engineering creation of the American Motors automobile corporation in history. In this regard, the muscle car was predicted a great future. The engineers planned to produce 5,000 cars a year. However, due to financial difficulties, the project had to be closed in the early 70s.

American engineers, together with specialists from BMW and Bizzarrini, managed to work on nine AMC AMX 3. Only five cars have survived to this day, two of which have remained unfinished. The project was based on the previous American project AMX / 2. Engineers have made the steel body of the new car smoother, while retaining the two hood air intakes and opening headlights. At the same time, the rear window became solid, and the spoiler was automatically extended.

The AMC AMX / 3 was powered by a 6.4-liter V8 with 340 horsepower (583 Nm). The unit was paired with a four-speed manual transmission. A 1300-kilogram muscle car accelerated to 100 km/h from 5.5 seconds.

Currently, you can buy a piece of American automotive culture for $ 400,000.

At the end of September, a red 1981 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport was put up for sale in Germany. A unique sports car, produced in only 15 copies, was estimated at 280 thousand euros.
