Ranked the most unreliable crossoversFebruary 10, 2020
The German Technical Supervision Association (TUV) ranked the most unreliable second-hand crosses last year. Specialists studied over 9,000,000 cars and identified SUV models, the owners of which experienced the most problems.
So, among all the crosses with mileage, the Dacia Duster became the most breaking one – 11.7% of these cars had problems with the oil, steering rack, suspension and even headlights. Hyundai Tucson is in the second position, 10.5% of owners complaining about a very fragile rear suspension. The third anti-rating position went to KIA Sportage, all of which failures occurred in electronics and wiring in 7.5% of cases.
He (KIA Sportage) took the leading place among anti-rating crosses older than 3 years. By this period, 15% of cars of this model have problems with brakes.
In second place in the list of the most breaking “three-year-old crosses” is Volkswagen Tiguan, of which 14.2% of owners complained of a weak and short-lived suspension.
The third place was taken by Nissan Qashqai, which, like the aforementioned Duster, is distinguished by its oil consumption and low-quality chassis.
In addition, it was recently noted that in January the French car market showed a significant decrease in sales.
