The company has changed the motor range of the popular crossover.
Jaguar Land Rover has updated its Range Rover Velar. Only three years have passed since the start of sales of the current generation of the crossover, so the manufacturer did not change the appearance of the car, but changed the engine range of the model.
Now the Velar P400e is equipped with a 300-horsepower turbo petrol engine and a 143-horsepower electric motor, so the total output of the power plant is 403 hp, thanks to which the crossover accelerates from standstill to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds. The electric vehicle has a range of 53 kilometers.
In addition, a hybrid power plant appeared on the basis of the V6: in the P340 and P400 versions, a 48-volt starter-generator was added. The diesel V6 also received the same electric assistant. By the way, another 2-liter diesel engine with a starter-generator appeared in the engine range of the updated Velar.
Along with the new power plants, Range Rover Velar received a new steering wheel, gearshift selector, an advanced air purification system in the cabin, an active noise cancellation complex and the latest Pivi and Pivi Pro multimedia system. Sales of the updated crossover in Europe have already begun, the model will arrive in Russia early next year.
