Thanks to several high quality spy shots taken by the HD Rams team, we get our first glimpse of the 75th Anniversary Edition Ram 2500 Power Wagon. The novelty will be positioned as a truck for the 2021 model year. It is known that a special version of the car is timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the RAM Power Wagon trucks.
The original Dodge Power Wagon debuted in the 1946 model year and gave returning World War II veterans the opportunity to acquire a rugged truck to conquer the wilderness of America.
“The original Power Wagon was built to be the most powerful truck of its time, which is the main philosophy that Ram continues today with the new 2500 Power Wagon,” reads a press release.
The Ram 2500 Power Wagon is powered by the familiar 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine found in many Ram and Dodge vehicles. In this particular truck, it produces 410 horsepower and 581 Nm of torque, which are sent through an 8-speed automatic transmission directly to the all-wheel drive system with locking differentials with a rear axle ratio of 4.10. All Ram 2500 Power Wagon trucks are supplied with a crew cab.
Customers who choose the anniversary edition of the truck can reportedly expect small improvements. The 75th Anniversary Power Wagon is available in two unique body colors – Anvil / Diamond Black and Orange / Diamond Black. The truck is adorned with many special anniversary badges from exterior to interior. There is also a set of accessories from MOPAR, a special insert in the false radiator grille and wheels with side blocking.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Ram hid an “Easter egg” in its powerful pickup 1500 TRX 2021. The creators of the high-performance truck Ram 1500 TRX 2021 have an “Easter egg” in store for their fans. Hidden under the engine cover is an image of the T. Rex dinosaur holding its worst enemy, another dinosaur, Raptor, in its teeth.
