Radical flagship Peugeot, for the development of which took two years: the first photoSeptember 17, 2018
Teaser of the new Peugeot concept was published in his Twitter by the head of the brand Jean-Philippe Imparato. “When I saw him live, it made me feel like a child … I can not wait to show you more,” the top manager accompanied the post. Also, the general director of Peugeot noted that the development of the prototype took two years.
The name of the novelty is not yet disclosed, the date and place of the premiere are also not announced. Meanwhile, in the spring, in one of his interviews, Jean-Philippe Impparato promised to bring to the Paris Motor Show, which will open to the public in October, “something outstanding and radical.” Probably, it was this concept that the head of Peugeot had in mind. It is not excluded that the novelty will be cut before the public debut.
On the teaser it is still difficult to determine which body is the model: we see only a long hood. Some French media believe that in Paris will present a coupe with a design based on the “two-door” Peugeot 504, which was released from 1969 to 1983. In favor of this assumption, says the air intake, located on the hood of the new prototype. Most likely, the concept is equipped with an electrical installation.
