Qatari Sheikh Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans V600 will be on saleMarch 2, 2020
The Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans V600 of the year ordered by Sheikh Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, the eldest son of the eighth emir of Qatar, will be sold at a price ranging from $ 375- $ 425,000 at RM Sotheby’s auction. Bidding should take place on March 6 – 7.
The British automaker has released this car in honor of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the brand in the race “24 hours of Le Mans” with the model DBR1 / 2.
The most interesting thing is that this car is equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with two M90 Eaton superchargers with a capacity of 600 hp. This engine allows the Vantage Le Mans V600 to accelerate to 60 mph (96 km / h) in 3.9 seconds, and its top speed is 200 mph (320 km / h).
The car has a revised front panel with enlarged cooling channels to improve downforce, as well as original wheels and a rear panel with four exhaust pipes. Inside, it is worth noting the presence of perforated foot pedals, an aluminum gear knob and brushed metal panels.
Al Thani ordered his Vantage Le Mans V600 in Racing Green, with green leather interiors and dark green carpeting. In addition, the sheikh ordered to decorate the rear seats, gear lever and operation manual with the arms of the royal family of Al Thani.
The royal family owned the car until 2008, until it was acquired by a museum in Japan. Then, in 2017, the car was brought to the United States. It is worth noting that this car is one of 22 issued in left-hand drive, and in total the British brand built 40 copies of the Vantage Le Mans V600. The mileage of this car is 11,806 miles (about 19 thousand km).
