Puritalia is preparing to debut a new electric hypercarFebruary 26, 2020
As last year, Puritalia will be present at the Geneva Motor Show, but next month a small manufacturer is preparing a new surprise.
A small Italian sports car manufacturer has not revealed any details about its latest model, except that it will be equipped with a fully electric power plant and built-in artificial intelligence technology “to control power, performance and controllability.”
At first glance, nothing has changed in the design department of Berlinetta. At the Geneva Motor Show last year, Purtalia demonstrated the Berlinetta sports coupe model with a hybrid powerplant with a plug-in module that helps the Italians develop 978 hp. This year Puritalia goes much further in electrification.
Nerk announces the arrival of the SuperVEloce project. According to its creators, this all-electric newcomer, among other things, is equipped with artificial intelligence, although we expect nothing more than a “smart” assistant who can be controlled by voice.
“Regardless of personal tastes and preferences, we cannot turn a blind eye to what is happening in the entire automotive industry. This is the right moment for us to take on the “fully electric” challenge and present the world with a completely unique car such as the Project SuperVEloce, ”said Paolo Parente, CEO and founder of the company.
The teaser image accompanying the ad demonstrates the same old-school style, with key design elements such as headlights, taillights, hood and wide wings. Nevertheless, we expect several changes in the area of the bumper and, possibly, the closed radiator grille, distinguishing the two models from each other.
