Published the official teaser of the new Skoda Superb 2020May 8, 2019
The presentation of the updated model Skoda Superb, which will be positioned as a liftback / wagon 2020 model year, will be held at the end of this month. Now we have the opportunity to look at the official sketch of the model.
Much time has passed since the first teaser of the flagship model of the Czech brand Skoda was published. It’s about the Superb liftback / wagon. Now, the press service of the brand offers us to once again look at its new product. At first glance, some may be tempted to say that the mid-size model looks almost the same as the current car, which has not received changes over the past four years.
I note that in the front panel of the novelty there are still some subtle changes.
For example, headlights – although they are almost identical in form to the old ones, they have a fully LED structure that will replace the current formula – bi-xenon + LED daytime running light. In addition, the false radiator grille seems to have become a little wider than before – the edges of the grille now correspond to the headlights.
Skoda fans will also notice that the front bumper has also been slightly modified – now the fog light units are interconnected by a chrome strip, almost as wide as the bumper.
The image of the back of the novelty is not available at the time of writing this news, but the Czech brand claims that on the back door instead of the company logo, there is an inscription Skoda. We first saw this design move on the “charged” Kodiaq GT crossover, released exclusively in China at the end of last year, as well as in the compact Scala hatchback, which replaced the Skoda Rapid Spaceback.
Other details about the new Superb are not yet available, but Skoda promises that the new product will receive advanced electronic assistants.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the updated Skoda Fabia R5 is preparing for a racing debut.
