Kia has begun testing a new production electric car under the internal CV designation. The first photo was shared by TopElectricSUV agency.
Judging by the photo, the electric car will be equipped with a large virtual “tidy”, next to which there will be a multimedia system screen.
It is possible that the interior design of the upcoming model will resort to using some solutions from the Imagine prototype, which stood out for the many touchscreen displays in the cabin. From the Kia Imagine concept, the production CV variant should also borrow the general body concept described by Koreans as a “sedan-cross hybrid”. Note that the novelty of the Korean brand should acquire the same on-board electrical circuit with a voltage of 800 volts, which is used on the Porsche Taycan. Thanks to a special on-board system, it will be possible to replenish the battery energy up to 80% in 20 minutes, in turn, on a single charge, the car will be able to drive about 500 km.
According to assumptions, the premiere of the Kia CV product variation will take place next year. The car should become the debut model of the brand, which will acquire a fundamentally new corporate emblem with a revised font and connected letters.
In addition, it was recently noted that the new generation KIA Sportage was shown in render images. It should be emphasized that initially the novelty was supposed to debut at the end of this year, but due to the coronavirus, it was decided to postpone the presentation until April next year.
