New Lamborghini hybrid debuts at Frankfurt Motor Show
An alleged image of the first Lamborghini hybrid supercar appeared on the net. The novelty, previously known under the internal factory designation LB48H, received the trade name Sian.
Nothing is actually known about the hybrid Lamb. The appearance of the supercar can be described as an evolution of the Aventador design with elements from the Terzo Millennio concept – for example, Y-shaped running lights remind of the show car. Also in the picture you can replace the integrated spoiler with the number 63 – the year the Lamborghini was founded.
According to preliminary information, the hybrid power plant will consist of a 6.5-liter atmospheric V12 and one or more electric motors powered by a 48-volt power grid. The total return of the supercar will be about 1000 horsepower. Insiders say that instead of traditional traction batteries, Italians can install supercapacitors in a car.
The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio concept debuted in 2017. The supercar was equipped with a set of “innovative supercondensers” integrated into the body structure. The body itself is made of carbon fiber with special nanotubes filled with “healing cracks”.
