Published render Ford Focus ST 2019December 28, 2018
This “charged” hatchback looks pretty good – unfortunately, this is just a render. Ford’s new Focus ST is due for release in the first half of 2019. The car will receive the first automatic transmission.
According to the plans of the current leadership of the American brand, the high-performance version of the Ford Focus ST 2019 model year will be presented next year – according to rumors, this should happen in the first half of 2019.
It is noteworthy that this car will not be available in its native US car market.
At the moment, foreign journalists have already published “spy” photos of several prototypes of the American novelty. We even have some idea of the appearance of the long-awaited car. Independent artists were rendered on the “charged” American hatchback.
According to established tradition, the appearance of the Ford Focus ST is unlikely to change much compared to conventional versions of the car. It is likely that the front bumper will receive new air intake grilles and modified fog lights. Sporty wheels and wider side skirts give the hatchback an aggressive look. In addition, they should help improve its handling.
Although the design of the long-awaited novelty is largely not a secret, it remains a mystery what will be under the hood of the Focus ST. The latest rumors say that the car will get a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 270 horsepower. A 2.0 hp diesel engine of 190 hp EcoBlue can also be offered. The car will receive the first 8-speed automatic transmission.
