Published new photos of the new cross from LandwindNovember 13, 2018
The Chinese brand is known for producing copies of famous models.
Images of the crossover with the E315 index appeared in the patent office of China in the spring of this year. Then, in August, spies published photos of test prototypes. And on the eve of fresh pictures were at the disposal of the Chinese media, and in much better quality.
Externally, the car is made more or less original, except that the multi-tiered headlamps are similar to the new Hyundai Santa Fe or Baojun 510. But in general, the exterior and interior seem like nothing else.
Specifications are not yet known. It is expected that the range of engines will include units that are installed on other brand SUVs. For example, there is a 1.5 liter gasoline turbomachine (163 hp), a 1.5-liter Mitsubishi turbo engine (150 hp) and an aspirated 1.6-liter (125 hp) engine. Most likely, like all Landwind models, the drive will be installed exclusively front.
The Landwind brand is a joint venture of companies like Changan and Jiangling. But he is known for having released on the home market a “clone” Range Rover Evoque called X7. And even the update last year of the cross did not save him from the similarity with the famous Briton. There is also a X2 crossover model in the lineup of the brand and Xiaoyao, created “in the image and likeness” of Mercedes-Benz GLA.
Meanwhile, Changan is preparing to debut the CS85 coupe crossover, based on the CS75 cross.
