Hyundai Tucson lit up in camouflage in the photo.
At the moment, we have an idea of what the new generation Tucson looks like, without the heavy camouflage of the front bumper. The car turned out to be quite similar to the Hyundai Palisade. Everything is also a turn signal and DRL at the top and bottom, made for one projector with possibly more decorative lighting, but in a smaller size. The headlight also became smaller, but got sharper lines, and it is not in the form of a horizontal rectangle, like the Palisade. The front grille has a different design, unlike its larger counterpart, and this may be a completely new design that we have never seen. Below you can see a smaller and much wider lower grille. We can only guess about the final version of the design, but it will be more aggressive in comparison with its current generation, I hope that soon we will see the new design completely.
The future generation of Tucson will receive a brand new 2.5-liter Theta3 engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai hopes to use the Theta3 N / A & Turbo 2.5-lite engine as the main engine in the US market. Hyundai Motor and its subsidiaries are in the process of updating the lines of the plant in Alabama, as the automaker decided to assemble the next-generation Tucson Hyundai in 2020. Tucson will also expand its pickup lineup. and will offer a pickup option from 2021.
Over 60% of U.S. car market sales are SUVs, for which reason the company will produce Tucson at its Alabama plant in lieu of the expected sales of Elantra and Sonata. Currently, production in Alabama creates only three models: Santa Fe, Sonata and Elantra.
