The artist presented his version of what the Italian mid-engined supercar Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm might look like.

Alfa Romeo unveiled the high-performance Giulia GTAm sedan in early March. In its cabin, there are two sports chairs with six-point belts, and the rear sofa is completely removed – instead there is a safety arch.

The independent artist decided to fantasize about what the Italian novelty would look like in the mid-engined version.

The author of the rendering is artist Carlifestyle, who posted his creation on his Facebook page. The Ferrari 488 Pista was taken as the basis for the mid-engined Alfa Romeo supercar. There are similarities between these cars in the shape of the “cockpit”, rear fenders and air intakes. The front and back of the virtual novelty are borrowed from the original GTAm.

In the front of the car there is an inverted triangular false radiator grille and wide air intakes. The resulting car looks surprisingly good.

Although the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm has an updated version of the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine, it may not provide enough power for the mid-engine version of the model. The motor produces 533 horsepower in the sedan. Just for reference, however, the 3.9-liter V8 in the Ferrari Pista produces 711 hp.

In a recent interview, the automaker’s CEO said that Alfa Romeo will have to “significantly cut” the brand’s new lineup due to cost cuts. That is, a mid-engined supercar is unlikely to be available soon.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Alfa Romeo has updated the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Alfa Romeo Corporation demonstrated restyled “charged” sedan Giulia Quadrifoglio and cross Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which got new equipment.
