Pro-version of the Mercedes-AMG GT R shown on videoNovember 27, 2018
Mercedes-Benz has published a video in which it showed the Pro-version of the Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupe. The limited edition of the supercar will be even more adapted for the track by providing improved aerodynamics and changing the chassis settings.
Judging by the video, the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro will receive a modified body kit: a front bumper with massive air ducts, canards and a spoiler, as well as new elements in the rear of the body. These are small “wings” — winglets connected to the diffuser and designed to increase downforce. In addition, lightweight seats, a safety cage and four-point belts with a mount on the crossbeam will appear in the cabin of the supercar.
Even before its world premiere, the new Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO has impressively demonstrated its performance potential on the racetrack. Stay tuned for more.

It is expected that the Pro-version of the supercar will be lighter and slightly more powerful than the usual GT R. According to rumors, the return of the eight-liter biturbo “eight” will be more than 600 horsepower, while on the GT R it gives out 585 forces and 700 Nm of torque . Overclocking to the first 100 km/h coupe will spend less than 3.6 seconds.
