Rivian has updated its website to reveal the trim levels and options for the upcoming R1T electric pickup, which will rival Tesla’s Cybertruck. The first deliveries are now slated for June 2021.
The big news is the pricing and we see the R1T starting at $ 67,500. Initially, buyers will be able to choose from just three versions, with the most expensive being offered for $ 75,000.
R1T can be pre-ordered today for just $ 1,000. The basic version of the R1T will start shipping in June 2021.
At the time of launch, the R1T will be able to cover over 480 km. A version with a range of about 650 km will be available in January 2022. After the launch, the timing of the appearance of the cheapest R1T, which will be able to cover about 400 km of track, will be announced.
“We’ve spent years researching this area – carrying gear, loading bicycles, wrestling with wetsuits, preparing food in nature, sleeping under the stars. In the end, the result was a special truck that can handle any adventure, ”the brand says.
Rivian Driver + is standard on every vehicle. This autonomous driving suite also includes a full range of safety features. The system is constantly expanding its functionality through updates over the wireless network.
