Prices for the new crossover Mercedes-Benz GLBAugust 21, 2019
The new compact Mercedes-Benz GLB crossover will appear at German brand car dealerships at the end of the year, but dealers are currently taking orders in Germany – the minimum price is 37,746 euros
Based on the same basic elements as the new A-class hatchback / sedan, although larger in size to offer more passenger space and a third row of seats, the GLB square crossover technically competes with the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 crossovers. Note that the base price of the Bavarian X1 is 32 700 euros.
The only gasoline engines available for the new Mercedes-Benz GLB are the 1.3-liter at 163 hp. (GLB 200 version) and 224 hp 2.0 liter in GLB 250 4Matic.
The diesel range is wider: the crossover is offered in the GLB 180d, GLB 200d, GLB 200d 4Matic and GLB 220d 4Matic versions. Prices range from 37,770 euros to 44,601 euros. These models have the same 2.0-liter powertrain that delivers 116 hp. (280 Nm) in the most affordable version, 150 hp (320 Nm) in the middle versions. Well, the equipment 220d 4Matic boasts 190 hp. (400 Nm).
Crossovers with 4Matic all-wheel drive system have a standard off-road engineering package with speed control on the descent, additional driving mode and additional off-road lighting. Among the options there are also LED headlights and fog lights, a 360-degree system, a premium Burmester audio system, and a heated steering wheel.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz offers a special edition GLB Edition 1 with 20-inch alloy wheels with opal-orange rims, brown interior with coral red stitching and walnut tree with a coral red pattern.
