A very unusual instance of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle has appeared in Canada. “Beetle” quite often becomes the object of close attention of tuners, but this project still managed to surprise casual observers.

The transformed Volkswagen Beetle was recently spotted in the parking lot of the Princess Auto factory in Canada. A snapshot of an unusual car is shared by Reddit. The compact little car retained its signature shape, but at the same time acquired a number of questionable accessories.

For example, on the front of the “Beetle” something similar to the rear fender flaunts, only for some reason stuck to the hood. Other attachments include auxiliary lighting, metal horns, and assorted metal tubes. The Volkswagen Beetle sills were borrowed from the Jeep Liberty, and the car body is painted in a pistachio shade, which is fashionable today, with a “torn” black stripe in the lower part of the body.

There are strange-looking chrome rivets around the perimeter of the body, and on the back there are even three metal plates of different sizes. On the roof of the car there is a trunk with additional headlights and direction indicators.

The Beetle’s feed was not in the frame, but if you look closely you can see a pair of chrome-plated tailpipes peeking out from behind.

In general, the car turned out to be similar to the transport from the movie “Mad Max” – only it came out more neat and not so brutal.
