Presented by a motorhome that will go anywhereAugust 20, 2019
The Czech company Torsus has built an off-road motorhome. The machine is equipped with everything necessary for an autonomous trip to hard-to-reach areas.
Car homes are ideal for travelers. You can travel to unfamiliar cities with a sufficient level of comfort and visit various attractions. Well, for those who want to get to those places where an ordinary car can’t get there, they came up with motorhomes that are built on the basis of full-fledged SUVs.
It is the creation of such vehicles that the guys from the Czech company Torsus Praetorian Overland are engaged in. That project, which will be discussed in this article, has an all-wheel drive system, a torquey six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 240 hp. power, and the maximum torque is 925 Nm.
According to the representatives of the brand, an off-road mobile home can reach speeds of up to 117 km / h. There are safety grills in the front and rear of the car, and there is a bike rack on the roof.
What is no less important for the atvodoma, whose task is to overcome rugged terrain, is to ensure its inhabitants complete autonomy. Thanks to the 150 W solar panels, the batteries are powered. It is from there that household electrical appliances take the energy necessary for their work. The machine is also equipped with tanks for fresh and industrial water. There is also an electric water heater.
The kitchen has a gas hob, oven, extractor fan, fridge, microwave and washing machine. And of course, the creators of this vehicle thought about the need to store things – there is simply an incredible amount of all kinds of lockers and shelves.
Also, the guys from the company Torsus Praetorian Overland thought about sleeping places. Off-road motorhome boasts a bed for two berths. There is also a full shower, toilet, satellite TV and audio system.
