Presented a race schedule in 2021 In MonacoMay 20, 2020
This year, in Monaco, they refused to hold the Grand Prix because of an epidemic, but today they presented a plan for the next season at the Autoclub of Monaco (ACM) – with the permission of the government, three races will be held in the spring in a month.
From April 23 to 25, a race of historical cars will be held, the Formula E stage is scheduled for May 8, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix is scheduled for May 20-23. The Monaco Grand Prix date of 2021 is officially announced for the first time.
For the Monaco auto club this is a serious challenge, 3,000 volunteers will be involved in the work, including 650 marshals, but ACM has no doubt that they will cope with a difficult task.
“For the first time in the history of ACM, we will hold three races in a month. From the point of view of logistics, the task is quite complicated, but feasible.
Due to new restrictions, we will begin preparing the track earlier than usual – at the end of February, and not on March 15. Then we will launch the technical systems on the track, necessary for each category, counting on the experience and knowledge of everyone who will participate, ”the ACM statement said.
