Presented a modern version of the SUV Jeep Cherokee XJJuly 6, 2020
The artist presented his vision of what the American Jeep Cherokee XJ generation would look like today.
Many people believe that the Jeep Cherokee XJ is the first real SUV that combines great off-road capabilities with a good level of automotive comfort – a car for every day. The Cherokee of the XJ generation has gained popularity among all walks of life due to its simple and robust design, which can equally well cope with both off-road and regular asphalt. Over time, the Jeep Cherokee has become much more oriented on a flat road, and today it is a compact SUV, almost lost the ability to ride on the road. But what if Jeep brought Cherokee back this opportunity?
In a render from the independent artist wb.artist20, we are invited to take a look at what could have happened if Jeep had retained all its off-road qualities for the Cherokee.
This square but stylish SUV looks more like a competitor to Ford Bronco than a real SUV that targets competitors like the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. The recreated square XJ Jeep Cherokee resembles the JL Wrangler, borrowing its classic square design.
It is worth noting that this version of the Cherokee could easily compete with the new Ford Bronco SUV, as well as the Jeep Wrangler and provide a large market share for Jeep in the growing SUV segment.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the ultra-compact SUV Jeep Baby 2022 was shown on renderings. Jeep is going to release a new small SUV below the same Renegade. Rumors about this have been running for quite some time.
