Presented 700-horsepower supercar Brabham BT62RSeptember 3, 2020
Brabham showed off the BT62R supercar on Thursday, September 3rd, adding to the BT62 family of Ultimate Track and Competition variants.
Unlike other versions, the novelty is allowed to be used on public roads. The BT62R is available in both RH and LHD and is also available with Signature Series or Celebration Series livery.
The novelty is equipped with a modified exhaust system, air conditioning, heated windshield, an additional acoustic system, a different front splitter and rear diffuser, other seats and road tires. However, if you choose the version with the Celebration Series livery, the model is additionally equipped with logos and badges in 18-carat gold, a unique interior trimmed with carbon fiber, and an exclusive set of Track Pack, consisting of a rear wing, splitter and diffuser.
As for the power unit BT62R, it is equipped with a 5.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with a capacity of 700 hp. and 667 Nm of torque, with which the 6-speed sequential gearbox functions.
To enable the BT62R to go on normal roads, the manufacturer has equipped it with all the necessary optics, side mirrors and other elements, such as the dashboard, to which the rear view camera is connected.
The first deliveries of the new Brabham supercar are scheduled for the coming weeks.
In addition, it was recently noted that Maserati showed off the new MC20 supercar in an official video. It should be emphasized that the premiere of the new model of the Italian brand is scheduled for September 9 this year.
