GM Corporation together with SAIC-Wuling demonstrated a new modification of the Baojun 530 crossover, which is an analog of the new generation Chevrolet Captiva 2020.
The novelty has acquired a front body with a different design. She borrowed headlights, a radiator grille and fog lights from her older brother Baojun RS-5. In addition, the crossover received modified LED taillights and modified bumpers.
After the modernization, the SUV became a little larger: the length is 4,655 mm (+40 mm), the width is 1,835 m, the height is 1,760 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2,750 mm.
Now the car will be offered in 5-, 6- and 7-seater versions. In addition, the novelty has a half dashboard, 360-degree video surveillance cameras and a modern infotainment system that can be controlled using voice.
The SUV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp, which is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT variator and front-wheel drive.
The novelty should appear on sale this fall. At the same time, its cost is still kept secret. But the modernized version of the crossover in China costs from 75,800 yuan
