Infiniti has opened a new showroom in Yokohama, Japan. Called the Lounge, the place, according to company officials, shows what all of the company’s showrooms will look like in the near future.

Like its parent company Nissan, Infiniti is in the process of restructuring to make it competitive in the largest markets in North America and China. The company gave us an idea of what to expect in the coming years in terms of its future lineup, and you can get a clear idea of this by visiting the new Infiniti Lounge showroom in Yokohama, Japan.

Infiniti has moved its global headquarters from Hong Kong to Yokohama this year, and the brand’s new showroom is located at Nissan’s global headquarters, which is also where Infiniti’s new headquarters is located.

The Infiniti Lounge opened on October 28 to the general public.

The first two exhibits are the QX60 Monograph and Q Inspiration. The recently unveiled QX60 Monograph is a preview of the next-generation QX60 production SUV due next year, and the Q Inspiration sedan concept showcases “an exciting design direction for the brand.” Other models of the brand will be on display in the new showroom in the near future.

The Infiniti Lounge’s design aesthetic was inspired by the automaker’s international showrooms, designed in collaboration with architects Kengo Kuma, to offer visitors a “seamless blend of nature and technology.”

Nissan’s headquarters attracts about 1.25 million customers annually (numbers reflect the pre-COVID-19 pandemic). This mestro serves as a showcase for the achievements of the Japanese automaker.
