Tata Altroz is a brand new compact hatchback from the Indian giant. The model is available as an inexpensive city car with a stylish design and a wide range of equipment. The main target audience is young people. And despite the fact that the approximate cost and full specifications were disclosed over the past month, a detailed price list will appear only in January.
Now it became known that the model, which debuted on December 4, 2019, will appear at dealers and first customers no earlier than February 2020. Although earlier deliveries were expected in January. At the beginning of next year, the plant will only launch the conveyor.
Under the hood “dudes” will be installed a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 90 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, or a 1.2-liter gasoline engine that can develop up to 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Paired with them will be offered manual transmission in five steps. Robotic transmission will appear later.
The model will immediately receive several trim levels. Moreover, the list of additional options will be extensive and will be updated with new offers.
The cost of the basic version will start from 500,000 rupees. The flood version will have to pay about 800,000 rupees.
