A subsidiary of Great Wall – WEY, standing a step above the Haval sub-brand, is preparing to debut its hybrid cross-coupe WEY P8 GT. It is known that the world premiere of the novelty will be held at the motor show in Guangzhou. A few days before the official presentation on the Internet, the first images of the WEY P8 GT were posted, which, according to experts, can become a worthy competitor to the BMW X6.
The hybrid power plant, with which WEY equipped its new model, consists of a two-liter turbo engine, an electric motor and a set of high-performance batteries. Its total output reaches 340 hp Such a power unit is combined with a six-speed robotized gearbox.
Information about the cost of the hybrid WEY P8 GT, which received four-wheel drive, is still not available. For the classic WEY P8, Chinese motorists pay from 259,800 yuan. The initial version of the BMW X6 is much more expensive – 829,900 yuan.
