Perhaps a hypercar with a capacity of 1600 horsepower in the back of a roadster may not be the most attractive thing to buy, but the American tuning studio Hennessey “plays” with this idea anyway. A couple of minutes ago, on its official pages in social networks, the company published three images of a possible novelty.
In a recent Instagram post, Texas-based tuning company Hennessey Performance decided to conduct a small survey on whether they should produce a Venom F5 hypercar in the back of a roadster (a car with a soft or hard removable roof). Moreover, the post in social networks was accompanied by three images of a supposedly already built Venom F5 roadster in a light blue color scheme.
The stunning 1600-horsepower Venom F5 was officially unveiled at the 2017 SEMA tuning show. In principle, there are no questions to the possible novelty, but … In fact, it will be the same Venom F5, but without a roof.
So, one of the main questions. What is to manage the hypercar power of 1600 hp without a roof – at speed the wind will blow with incredible force into the face. How about structural stiffness? In addition, how many units of this model performance would Hennessey do, given that the coupe version is limited to 24 copies.
While we cannot get answers to these questions right now, we cannot deny that the idea of creating a roofless hypercar sounds a lot of fun. Recall that Hennessey is struggling to create the first hypercar, the maximum speed of which would be 482.7 km / h. This role is claimed by Venom F5.
