Porsche will present hybrid Panamera in ParisSeptember 9, 2016
Porsche has unveiled a hybrid modification of the second-generation Panamera – 4 E-Hybrid. Public premiere of new items will be held at the Paris Motor Show.
The composition of the hybrid power plant included a new 2.9-liter biturbo V6 petrol unit, which develops 330 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. ICE works in tandem with an electric motor located in front of the transmission, issuing 136 horsepower and 400 Nm. It is powered by the block lithium-ion battery, the capacity is increased from 9.4 to 14.1 kilowatt-hours. A full charge takes 5.8 or 3.6 hours with a standard or optional charging, respectively. The total return amounted to 462 units of horsepower and 700 Nm.
Now the electric motor gets into gear immediately after pressing the accelerator pedal, while in predecessor he came into effect only if the pedal has been depressed for more than 80 percent of its stroke.
Panamera Hybrid is able to gain first “hundred” in 4.6 seconds – 0.9 seconds faster than its predecessor. Maximum speed was 278 kilometers per hour (a first generation hybrid – 270 kilometers per hour).
When driving in the electric mode, the maximum speed is 140 kilometers per hour, and power reserve of 50 kilometers (predecessor – 30 kilometers). Claimed fuel consumption when driving in the combined mode is 2.5 liters per hundred kilometers in the combined cycle.
Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has a few extra modes of driving: E-Power, Hybrid Auto, E-Hold and E-Charge. By default, the pure electric mode E-Power. In a completely new Hybrid Auto mode, the type of engine choice, their combined use is carried out in automatic mode for maximum efficiency. Option E-Hold allows you to keep the existing level of the battery for future use, the E-Charge mode is activated by charging from the petrol motor. Sport and Sport Plus modes oriented for maximum performance, and the second allows you to disperse the car to a top speed of 278 km/h.
On the 12.3–inch touch screen will be displayed information about the hybrid installation, including information on running a stock, the specific spending power and its degree of filling recovery system.
European sales of the new generation of hybrid Panamera will start in mid April 2017. In Germany, prices for a novelty will begin from 107.5 thousand euros.
