A fully electric sports car from Porsche is no longer a fantasy, but a fact preparing for implementation. Now designers are trying to predict exactly how the future Taycan line will look like in various body types.

In 2015, Porsche introduced the concept car Mission E, a car that showed the design and technical characteristics of the first electric car of the brand. In June 2018, the German brand announced the Taycan name for the production version. Since then, the company has conducted many tests of electric vehicles on test prototypes. This new render shows how EV can look like when camouflage is reset.

As the power unit will be used two electric motors, one on each axis. They will develop a total power of at least 600 horsepower. Manageability and dynamic performance will surely fully satisfy the expectations of the company’s customers. It is expected that acceleration to 100 km / h in just 3.5 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km / h will take only 12 seconds.

The battery will be used as the power source for 95 kW * hours, which will provide the car with about 500 km of reserve capacity in mixed mode.

The very same electric car will be built on the platform of the VAG Groupe, which is also used for the Audi E-Tron GT.

Meanwhile, the press service of Porsche has published a video demonstrating the virtual tests of the Taycan in the cross of the Cross Turismo station wagon on the virtual Nurburgring.
