Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo – a practical sports electric carFebruary 24, 2019
Despite the fact that the German brand is just preparing for the presentation of its own electric car, the company is already preparing some modifications. Photospies managed to photograph one of the most expensive wagons.
The “regular” Porsche Taycan sedan is not yet on the market, and the company is already undergoing the first road tests of a more practical version of the Taycan Sport Turismo. Like the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo compared to the regular Panamera, the Taycan Sport Turismo is just a version of the regular Taycan with a different back end design. It may be presented as a separate model, although it is not. The third version of Taycan Cross Turismo is also expected.
On the eve of the photospies managed to capture the version of the electric vehicle in the station wagon. And the design of the model may seem to many more attractive than the design of a sedan. Like the standard version of the prototype model is equipped with four models of the exhaust system. According to preliminary information, Taycan Sport Turismo will initially be sold in three configurations: Carrera, Carrera S and Turbo. Taycan Sport Turismo Carrera will get about 400 horsepower, and the Turbo version can get about 600 horsepower.
The capacity of the batteries is not reported yet, but the power reserve will have to be about 500 km in full charge. The top version of Taycan will be able to accelerate to the 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the first and so far the only photograph of the Porsche 911 Turbo appeared on the Web. The car was photographed at the factory still on the conveyor line. The picture appeared in the instagram fan model Todd Schleicher brand.
