Porsche Taycan managed to set a record for the NurburgringAugust 26, 2019
The German company Porsche is once again proving its superiority by setting a new record on its new Taycan electric car. It is worth noting that the novelty set a record in camouflage.
Disguised electric car set a new record on the Nurburgring, the record is listed in the category of four-door electric cars. The car overcame the legendary track in just 7 minutes 42 seconds, which is a very successful indicator. Taycan arrived just 4 seconds slower than the Panamera, but managed to set a record in his division.
This instance is a pre-production version of the Porsche Taycan electric car, on it Lars Kern traveled a distance of 20.6 km. But this track also complements another record achieved by the 919 Hybrid Evo race car last year. This instance has been specially modified for the ring race. Driver Timo Bernhard set this record by driving in just 5 minutes 19.55 seconds.
Porsche added that the car that drove along the highway is the top version of the Taycan. Two electric motors are built into the electric car, one for each axis. Also, the car was equipped with 21-inch wheels, four-wheel drive, and the car’s power reached 600 horsepower.
We also recall the toy Porsche 911, which received the engine from an off-road motorcycle. A 51 horsepower engine was installed in the Porsche Power Wheel.
