The French division of the company Porsche announced the beginning of acceptance of preliminary orders for its first electric car. According to the official representative, now anyone can reserve a car paying a refundable deposit of 2,500 euros.

Recently, Porsche has opened a reservation program in the United States, and now the company is doing the same in France. Customers can pre-order the Porsche Taycan by making a refundable payment of 2500 Euros. In the event that customers want to abandon their order, the company will return all the money. We expect that within a few months the pre-order program will be released to other markets.

Porsche Taycan will be the first fully electric model of the German brand. The production version of the Mission E concept will be launched in 2019. The car has a number of impressive technical characteristics, including a power reserve. The company’s first electric car will receive two constantly synchronous engines – one for the front axle and the other for the rear axle, respectively. In addition, that the total capacity will be about 600 horsepower, this will allow the company to create an intelligent all-wheel drive system.

It is assumed that the electric car will receive a capacious lithium-ion battery capable of providing up to 500 km of the path on full charge. And the power of the battery and motors will be enough to ensure that the car is accelerated to the first 100 km/h in only 3.5 seconds, and 200 km / h were collected in just 12 seconds. In all likelihood, the maximum speed will be limited to a mark of 250 km / h.

Experts also believe that Porsche Taycan will receive the company’s best achievements in terms of aerodynamics, handling, and suspension settings. Of course, the car will receive the most advanced technologies of active and passive safety.

At the moment, it is planned to produce about 20,000 units of electric cars a year, and production will begin next year. Estimated cost will start from 80 000 euros.
