Porsche Taycan failed parking and crashed from a height of several metersNovember 20, 2020
The electric car touched an SUV and landed on another parked car
CCTV cameras captured the failed attempt of the Porsche Taycan to park in the driveway. The electric car stands motionless for some time, after which it accelerates sharply, crashes into a black SUV and falls from a height of several meters onto another car. It can be assumed that the driver has mixed up the pedals.
According to the footage released, all three cars were damaged: the first car parked at the house was rammed by the Taycan from the left side. The impact was such that the black SUV weighing several tons turned almost 90 degrees. And the electric car, without slowing down, drove down the slope and fell off the concrete fence: by an unfortunate accident, it landed exactly on the roof of a blue runabout, which flew several meters off and ended up on the roadway.
The Porsche Taycan is sold in several versions: 4S with 530 hp, Turbo (680 hp) and Turbo S (761 hp). In addition, an initial version of the electric car is presented in China, which is equipped with one electric motor (408 hp) and rear-wheel drive. Such Taycan is not yet sold in other markets.
