Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo electric station wagon spotted in testsSeptember 7, 2020
Some publications have published a video of testing a prototype of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo electric station wagon. The novelty was spotted at the Nürburgring race track.
Can you see this incredibly fast station wagon driving down the Nürburgring? Before us is a fully electric Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. This impressive car silently overcomes the Nürburgring in the final test stage – most of the car’s body is not covered with any camouflage. The Taycan Cross Turismo is the first of many future iterations of the Porsche Taycan electric vehicle.
The German novelty will combine the practicality of a station wagon with the stunning dynamic performance of a supercar.
It is not surprising why the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is so confident in sharp turns at a high enough speed – the station wagon has a low center of gravity, which is provided, in particular, by the fact that its “floor” contains a heavy battery. And of course, the car is equipped with a powerful electric power plant with instant torque.
According to Porsche representatives, they are almost ready to start mass production of the Taycan Cross Turismo electric station wagon and, judging by this video, this electric car will turn out to be an impressive car in absolutely every sense.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote about what Porsche said about the electric version of the Panamera fastback. According to representatives of the premium brand, the electric version of the Porsche Panamera fastback will not compete with the electric sedan Porsche Taycan. “These cars differ from each other primarily in size” – said the official representative of the automaker.
