Porsche has published a teaser that gives an idea of the interior of the first serial electric car of the brand – Taycan. The car will premiere on September 4, and its sales will start in 2020.

In general, the interior of the electric car will be in many ways similar to the new generation 911 sports car – in particular, we are talking about the upper section of the front panel and the steering wheel. The fully digital dashboard shows that the driver will be able to choose from six riding modes: Normal, Sport, Sport +, Individual and Range. The latter will be designed to transfer electric car systems to maximum energy saving mode to increase mileage.

The company noted that Taycan will be the first production model in the world with the Apple Music service fully integrated into the multimedia system, providing access to more than 50 million musical compositions.

Porsche Taycan will be equipped with two electric motors (one on the front and rear axles), similar to those used on the hybrid sports prototype Porsche 919 Hybrid. Units, the total return of which will be 600 liters. with., will work together with an onboard 800-volt system. The electric car will be able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds, and acceleration from zero to 200 km / h will take less than 10 seconds. The battery reserve is enough for about 500 kilometers without recharging.

The official premiere of the Porsche Taycan electric car will take place on September 4 – the novelty will be shown simultaneously at three events in China, Germany and Canada.
