German automotive manufacturer Porsche reported on the opening of the 100th show room in China, but not traditional. They became an exhibition center, called “Porsche Studio”. His doors opened the day before in Guangzhou, a city twice as large in population as Beijing.
“In recent years, China has become the largest market for Porsche. Our four-door sports cars are especially popular in Asia, but the demand for double models is also growing rapidly. Porsche 718 Boxsters and Caymans sold more than 5,000 units in China during the past year, more than in any other country in the world” – said Detlev von Platen, head of sales and marketing.
The new “Porsche Studio” in Guangzhou occupies about 500 square meters of area. On them there are expositions of all five models of Porsche. Also there are points of interactive iPad-configurators.
In the immediate plans of the German manufacturer, the opening of the Porsche Experience center in Shanghai is similar to those in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Leipzig, Silverstone and Le Mans. In such centers, customers can test cars on the road and even off-road.
Earlier it became known that the Porsche Mission E will receive three options for power transmission capacity.
