Porsche Mission E will receive three variants of power transmissionDecember 29, 2017
Porsche is committed to providing Mission E with a stroke of 480 kilometers and a battery charge of up to 80 percent in 20 minutes.
The first electric sports sedan Porsche Mission E will receive three modifications that will vary with the power of the electric powerplant. This is reported by George Kacher of Automobile magazine, who was fortunate enough to drive on a white prototype of this electric vehicle and find out some of its characteristics.
By size, the Porsche Mission E will be smaller than the four-door Panamera Coupe. However, the German manufacturer intends to provide the same amount of free space in the cabin. The battery cells in the floor will not be picked up by unplaced passengers. The Germans promise that the interior of the electric novelty will fit the sedans of the D-Class.
Power unit Porsche Mission E will consist of two electric motors. The front will be an electric motor with 215 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. But the rear electric motor will vary in performance depending on the version. The basic modification will receive a total of 402 horsepower electric traction. The average configuration will be available 536 horsepower, and the top version will be able to boast 670 hp. All versions will be four-wheel drive. The German manufacturer does not rule out future release and rear-wheel drive modifications for European countries.
The entry into the market of the electric car Mission E is expected in 2019. Estimated prices for the novelty will be from 75 000 US dollars. Its main competitor is Tesla Model S.
Earlier in Porsche, they said that they would not release cars with an autopilot.
