Porsche laughs at the futuristic design of the Tesla Cybertruck pickupNovember 26, 2019
As stated in a recent Porsche press release, a modern electric car should not look like a futuristic car from science fiction films from the 80s of the last century.
Remember the German sports sedan Porsche Taycan? This is the very first car manufacturer, which received a fully electric power plant. I must say that this new product not only has the most advanced equipment, but also boasts a rather stylish appearance. The American electric crossover Ford Mustang Mach-E also looks pretty good, unlike the extravagant Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup.
The appearance of the latter caused a storm of indignation among many of those who follow automotive news.
Perhaps this is why the Porsche press office published several interesting photos of the Taycan sedan on the official page on the social network Facebook. They depict two copies of an electric car in a more powerful version of Turbo with some new design “chips”. We must pay tribute to the designers of the German brand – with these new additions, the electric car began to look even better than before.
The package of improvements was called Carbon SportDesign and it contains elements made of carbon fiber – they are located in the front of the car, side skirts. The rear diffuser is also made from this durable material. Silver Taycan features 21-inch Taycan Exclusive rims that, you guessed it, also use carbon fiber.
It is worth noting that the most powerful version of the German sedan with the designation Turbo S accelerates to 100 km / h in 2.6 seconds and boasts a cruising range of 402 km on fully charged batteries.
