Porsche has opened the most high-altitude “Pop Up” (temporary trading platform) on the top of the slope in the French municipality of Val d’Isere. It is located at 2,300 meters above sea level next to the ROK restaurant in the Meribel ski resort.

Marketplace is a podium with a glass dome, made in the form of a crystal. The total weight of the structure is more than three tons. Inside, the Porsche Cayenne of the latest generation is on display. The installation of a Porsche store required the help of helicopters and snowmobiles.

In Porsche note that the design of the store withstood the onslaught of Hurricane Eleanor with gusts of wind speed up to 170 kilometers per hour, powerful snowfalls and a drop in temperature to minus 25 degrees Celsius.

Porsche Cayenne third generation presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show last autumn. The model moved to a new platform and for the first time in history received a fully-controlled chassis. In addition, the SUV was equipped with active stabilizers of lateral stability, powered by a 48-volt power grid.

Gamma engine of the new Porsche Cayenne consists of a 3.0 V6 with 340 horsepower (340 Nm) and a 2.9-liter turbo-chaser, which produces 440 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. Both units are combined with an eight-band automatic transmission.

Earlier Porsche 911 new generation was filmed without camouflage.
