Porsche Flat Six 993 – coffee machine in the form of the engineNovember 4, 2018
What could be better than starting your day with a cup of coffee that was cooked in a Porsche engine.
This is exactly what engineers from the German automotive brand offer. Well, of course, not a real engine is used, but a copy of it. According to a survey by company analysts, 86% of all Porsche car owners love coffee almost as much as they drive a German sports car.
For them, it was decided to make a coffee maker in the form of a real engine. A rather unusual kitchen appliance was named Super Veloce Porsche Flat Six 993.
Note that the engines for the Porsche 993 (internal designation of the Porsche 911 family, produced from 1994 to 1998) are the last engines of the German automaker with air cooling. In particular, the high-performance 993 Carrera RS was equipped with a motor from this series, which received a 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters and a capacity of 296 horsepower.
In the development of the motor, which actually turns out to be an express machine, the company also took part Super Veloce, which is known for its models, made in the form of automobile engines. According to the official representatives of the German brand Porsche, they consider this particular power unit (Porsche 993) to be the most successful of the row 6-cylinder models.
Finally, we note that only 993 copies of the Super Veloce Porsche Flat Six 993 coffee machines will be made, and they can be ordered from the official website of the Super Veloce.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Porsche GT2 RS MR has taken the place of the leader among road cars at the Nurburgring.
