The consequences of the diesel scandal with the VAG Group continue to cause damage to the concern. Finally, a decision was made about the company Porsche, which was also seen in the falsification of data on fuel consumption and the amount of harmful substances.

No wonder global brands began to dramatically develop electric cars. The example of the Volkswagen group clearly proved that it was necessary to abandon diesel engines, and an alternative should be sought. Back in 2015, there was a big scandal associated with the substitution of software for the electronic engine control unit, so the group’s diesel vehicles were able to be certified for environmental performance. However, actual results could exceed ten times the norm.

According to the latest information, Porsche is also seen in “negligence”. Since 2009, Porsche has been producing cars that were partially at odds with the toxicity standards in force at the time.

Now the company will have to pay a 535 million euro fine. Including 531 million euros for obtaining unreasonable economic benefits and 4 million euros of an official fine.

Meanwhile, Porsche has published prices for the 911 Speedster 2019 model year. The cost of the sports coupe in the basic version starts at 269,274 euros
