Porsche Boxter will receive a body Shooting BrakeSeptember 23, 2019
Many motorists are fond of cars in the back of the Shooting Brake, and there is something for it – they look absolutely amazing. This Porsche Boxster Shooting Brake is an exception.
Currently, Van Thull Development tuning studio from the Netherlands is assembling a unique car. Much remains to be done before the project is ready, but the first pictures give us a good idea of what the finished copy will look like.
Instead of preserving the look of the Boxster 986 generation, which underlies the project, experts equipped the front and rear panels in the style of a Porsche 911.
When viewed from the side, the Boxster Shooter Brake has a set of small doors and air intakes from the 911 Turbo, which are set too low in front of the rear wheel arches. The roof line mimics the traditional Shooting Brake body style, but it may be too straightforward. If the roof was lowered a few centimeters in front and behind, and the side windows were cropped, the car could look much better.
Currently, those who want to purchase the Shooting Brake directly from the Porsche factory can only choose the only option – the Panamera Sport Turismo, which definitely has a much more attractive shape than this Frankenboxster.
