Porsche began testing the “high” version of the 911 sports carDecember 1, 2020
The German brand Porsche has begun testing a new version of the 911 sports car – with increased ground clearance. Spy photos of the car on Monday, November 30, were published by the Motor Authority.
Note that the German company has not yet officially announced such a car. Judging by the photo, the car has a much higher ground clearance in comparison with other cars of the family. In addition, it has flared wheel arches and an original rear spoiler, which was not previously featured on 911 models.
The “tall” Porsche 911 is expected to target the Chinese and Russian markets, “where, due to poor roads, motorists cannot use sports cars as a daily car.” It is quite possible that such models will become available in the American market, where traditionally there is a great interest in cars with an inflated suspension.
As a reminder, Porsche is an automobile company founded by renowned designer Ferdinand Porsche in 1931. The headquarters and main company are located in Stuttgart, Germany.
In addition, some time ago the date of the premiere of the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q5 became known. It should be emphasized that these electric vehicles are aimed at one of the most important market segments for modern car manufacturers.
