Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabrio was spotted at the NürburgringMay 25, 2019
The video captures a couple of moments when the prototype of the German novelty was on the verge of not flying somewhere. Since we have not yet seen the standard 911 Turbo, we will hardly see a more powerful version of the Turbo S Cabriolet any time soon.
In the spring, the German Nürburgring racetrack looks especially fascinating, and automakers take full advantage of the beautiful weather. The Porsche team is no exception – only six months have passed since the presentation of a completely new generation of the 911 sports coupe, and the company’s engineers are already testing numerous variations of this model.
The journalists were able to capture some pretty dangerous situations for the driver – one of them was at the mark of 2:06, and the other almost ended in disastrous results at 3:08.
Judging by this video, now, Porsche engineers are engaged in adjusting the suspension of their new product – test equipment can be seen in the prototype cabin. Of course, with the row “six” installed at the back, which can produce over 640 horsepower, it is sometimes difficult to control this monster. We heard that the next 911 Turbo may have about 600 “horses”, but this particular prototype is considered to be an even faster version of the Turbo S. Judging by how it develops speed on long sections of the German race track, we see no reason to doubt these power ratings.
