Porsche 911 Turbo new generation: the first photoFebruary 23, 2019
At the factory, the brand filmed a powerful version of the sports car
The first photo of the new-generation Porsche 911 sports car appeared on the Web. The car was filmed on the assembly line of the plant in Zuffenhausen.
The picture appeared in the instagram of the fan of the Todd Schleicher brand – he has two photos published, but the second frame is only a mirrored version of the same picture.
Officially, the Porsche 911 Turbo is still being introduced. The predecessor was equipped with a six-cylinder biturbomotor 3.8, which gave out 540 forces (on the Turbo S version, due to larger turbines, the power was increased to 580 hp). To 100 km/h car with the Sport Chrono package is able to accelerate in three seconds, and the Turbo S in 2.9 seconds.
From the new generation of the 911, only the rear-wheel drive Carrera S and all-wheel drive Carrera 4S are revealed. Both are equipped with a three-liter twin-turbo engine with a power of 450 forces (530 Nm). The one-wheel-drive version is gaining a hundred kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds (with the Sport Chrono package), and the all-wheel drive version in 3.4 seconds.
It is possible that the premiere of the new Turbo version of the sports car may take place as early as March at the Geneva Motor Show.
