It seems that everything is ready for the official debut of the rear-wheel-drive coupe Porsche 911 of the new generation 992, as evidenced by the latest photos taken by foreign photo spy. The car appeared in public without any camouflage, and it would be naive to assume that Porsche does not want it.

From the current Porsche 911, the new generation with the index 992 differs front bumper, new body panels, air intakes of a different shape. Headlight cases have not changed much, but probably the lenses and LED elements inside them are completely new. As for the rear part, it is much more refreshed: the lanterns are combined into a single unit with a thin line of LED elements, the shape of the hood lid and the shape of the slots in it have changed, the rear bumper has been radically updated, the twin tailpipes are moved closer to the central part. It is expected that from under the rear of the body, if necessary, hydraulically extend the wing, which will make the new Porsche more stable at high speeds.

Porsche 911 generation 992 will be built on the basis of a modernized MMB platform with a wider use of aluminum and high-strength steel. The dimensions of the model are not expected to change globally. Later, this platform can form the basis of other models of the brand – Cayman and Boxter.

Concerning the GT3 modification, it is known that it will receive a turbocharged engine with a payoff of around 500 forces. Porsche puts a SUV on fierce atmospheric engines with a volume of 3.8-4.0 liters for the new 911, although it is possible that some limited versions will still get such engines, especially since they sound on current models, especially on the 911 GT3 RS, just fantastic. The current 911 Carrera and Carrera S will retain their three-liter engine with an index of 9A2, but their capacity will be slightly increased by boost-up and some other improvements. In a couple of years, the Germans will present a hybrid version of the model, which will receive a 700-horsepower powerplant.

The most powerful version of Turbo S will receive the most evil version of the oppositely turbo six with a volume of 3.8 liters, and a reduced weight. Competing with this car will have a Ferrari 488 GTB, and the power of this engine will be brought to about 630 horsepower, which should be enough to fight a larger 661-hp Ferrari.

The presentation of the car will take place in November this year as part of a showroom in Los Angeles.
