Porsche 911 in the body of the Shooting Brake looks interesting, but unusualJanuary 1, 2019
A variation of the Porsche 911 line can serve as an example for other manufacturers. There are models from 100,000 to 300,000 dollars. However, there are versions that will probably never be released.
For some reason, the body of the Shooting Brake (a coupe-like station wagon, or something like that) has become popular among independent designers. And undoubtedly, some models look really cool with such a body, even though its practicality is questionable, but some models are very unusual. This time, the designers took on the new generation Porsche 911.
The company did not offer such a body for the 911th for more than 60 years, and it is doubtful that it will appear in the future. Moreover, the rear-engine layout eliminates any practicality from such a body. Of course, the trunk will get extra liters of space, but the second row of seats will not fit anyway. Moreover, the additional roof will violate the weight and balance of the car.
Despite all the mentioned moments, no one bothers us to imagine how the model actually looked like. Nevertheless, Porsche 911 Shooting Brake will remain only in the imagination of designers and fans.
Meanwhile, a special division of the company Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur presented the most expensive Macan 2019 model year in an exclusive body kit.
