Polish tuning studio modernized Mercedes-AMG G 63

Tuners Carlex Design showed their version of the new Mercedes-AMG G 63 in the version of Steampunk Edition. She received a copper roof lining, and her interior was decorated with plates of pink gold, Alcantara and brown leather. At the same time, wood was used in the decoration of the floor in the passenger area of ​​the interior.

The main leitmotif of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Steampunk Edition, judging by the name, was steampunk with its typical decorations for the Victorian period. The symbolism, which is associated with this area of ​​science fiction, is used to decorate both the exterior and interior.

Moreover, the most amazing element of the decor is a hand-engraved roof lining, fully decorated with copper. Together with it, a copper casing of the “reserve” and 22-inch wheels painted in a similar color are used.

 In the interior of this SUV there is a brown Alcantara on the ceiling and doors, as well as upholstery made of brown leather. Ventilation deflectors, inserts on the steering wheel and front panel are coated with copper or pink gold.
Each sample of the 63 Steampunk Edition model, and in total there will be 10, requires 5200 hours.

 Together with each car there is a book in a leather cover and with a golden logo, which reveals the complete transformation procedure, as well as a letter from the engraver about the rest of the masters who worked on the unique car.

 Technical characteristics of the car remained the same. Consequently, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Steampunk Edition will still be powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo engine with a capacity of 585 hp. (850 Nm). In conjunction with the engine operates a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV to the first “hundred” accelerates in 4.5 seconds and accelerates to 220 km / h as much as possible. At the same time, with the AMG Driver’s Package sports kit, the maximum speed rises to 240 km / h.

The cost of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Steampunk Edition is currently unknown. At the same time, a simple G 63 in the Polish market costs 765.1 thousand zlotys
